Unrest: will it happen here? [More]
Longenecker looks at shortages that would result--in liberty.

Scary Billionaires

To the left, that is...

Arctic Patriot explains.

I wonder how this Koch guy feels about guns...?

Gunwalker Hedgecocker

From T.L. Davis, via email:
I will be on the Roger Hedgecock show around 6:30 7:30 Eastern. I am providing a link to his website. Check out to see if you can find a station to listen to. It's only a ten minute gig, so be ready.

We will be discussing Project Gunwalker and hopefully I can get him interested in doing more on it and expanding away from me.

There's a "Listen Live" link at the top of the page, so you can listen from your computer. I don't see a station guide, however, if you're just near a radio...OK, here we go.  No idea how reliable it is.

Yet.

On the MAIG-sponsored Fix Gun Checks blog.

They want us to write the Senate to get the Traver nomination back on track.

I told them as long as we're contacting the Senate, there's a bigger matter concerning ATF:
Here's what they tell me:
Think they'll post it?

Mark Roote, who sent me this link, left one in the review queue too:
I submitted a comment as follows:
Traver?
http://waronguns.blogspot.com/search?q=traver We'll see if it gets posted... but I doubt it.
Wouldn't that just be an unprecedented shocker.

S'OK--it will allow us to charge MAIG with suppressing Gunwalker and then prove it.

Her Greatest Accomplishment

Iorio said she considers the eight-year decrease in crime her greatest accomplishment as mayor.[More]
Where have we seen people making questionable claims based on numbers before?

Via Ed M, who notes:
Not a single mention of the doubling of the number of Florida Concealed Carry of Weapons licenses, which is managed by the Florida Department of Agriculture, free from the interference of city or county politics. There has also been a dramatic increase in Florida handgun sales the last two years.
No, of course not. That would hardly serve the agenda.

The Wrong People...

...being sued. [Read]

I think the people who put this sign up are much more culpable.

The Brady Wishlist

In which Paul Helmke and Dennis Henigan engage in a duet playing the same old song that could be titled "Dueling Flaccidity."

I read "Big Bullet-Blasting Boxes" and actually almost felt sorry for them--it's like they need to bring their arguments down to that level because, well, look at who their stupid arguments appeal to.  It actually reminded me of a line from a funny old Bruce Campbell flick I channel-surfed through the other night and hadn't thought of for a while:
This is my Boomstick!

Kurt further deconstructs those primates.

Researchers challenge UN Arms Trade Treaty gun death claims

The global violence monopolists will have to throw more than phony numbers at those of us who take that position, and I would remind them that if they’re going to use real numbers, they may want to come up with a realistic accounting of how many they think it will take, and then share the methodology they intend to use to make their mad dream happen. Today's Gun Rights Examiner audit crunches some numbers.
