After controversial refusal, Wounded Warrior Project CEO to appear on Gun Talk

Following a heated controversy that has alienated many gun owners and veterans, the CEO of Wounded Warrior Project will be interviewed Sunday on Tom Gresham's Gun Talk Radio, a press release from the nationally-syndicated program announced this afternoon. [More]
This evening's Gun Rights Examiner special report shares some breaking news following grassroots in action that will carry us into the weekend anticipating how the discussion will go on Sunday. Anybody think the Brady's could have achieved such a quick turnaround? Oh, that's right, there is no market demand for a nationally-syndicated radio show centered on gun control.

Trump could be great friend if 'Second Amendment enthusiasm' is real

He also weighed in on the theater shooting in Aurora, stating disarmed victims were helpless to defend themselves, and eliciting the conclusion from Miller that “The Donald is a true Second Amendment enthusiast.”

If only he were. [More]
Today's Gun Rights Examiner report notes a good candidate for apprenticeship, assuming he doesn't think he already knows everything.

And They Say There are No Coincidences

Look what just arrived in the mail:

I'm hoping they truly come around. In the mean time, I'm exploring some alternatives that do the work and who don't need to "clarify" anything.

Vanderboegh Medical Update

Mike is back in the hospital to have a stent removed. He called me from there and said they had the IV in him, but the connection was bad and he couldn't hear me and then the call dropped.

Cross your fingers/say a prayer.

UPDATE: He just called  me. He's out of surgery and they're sending him home. He hopes to be posting later today.

It'll be interesting to see how that translates into traffic--my experience has been getting people to even click on links, let alone share them, is like pulling teeth.

No matter how much one might wish otherwise (talk about a story with significant implications I'd like to see more media notice).

Children of Israel

The sudden release of all sorts of suppressed news and "new" facts right after the election creates public cynicism. [More]
Yeah, it's not like the "public" had any clues before the election.

Obama voters and regressives in general are like the Israelites in the Old Testament.  They had all kinds of proofs of miracles that resulted in their freedom and protection.  Like idiot children, they then turned their backs on the source of all that, fashioned and worshiped a golden calf, and demanded a king so they could be like other nations.

I wonder if it will work out better this time?

This Day in History: November 15

On November 15, 1780, Marion attacked the British garrison at Georgetown, South Carolina. He had intelligence that there were only 50 British regulars manning the post, but they had since been reinforced by a number of Tory militia under Captains Jesse Barefield and James Lewis. Two assaults were turned back, first by Lewis and then by Barefield, and Marion's nephew Gabriel Marion was killed. After two days, Marion withdrew due to low ammunition. [More]
