Plan in Vermont is to 'inch forward' on guns in spite of state law

“So, this is a way to inch things forward on the gun control issue,” she observed. “You go to one of Vermont's most liberal municipalities and you get a tiny bit, then maybe you inch forward." [More]
This afternoon’s Gun Rights Examiner report notes the way you eat an elephant is one bite at a time.

Oh SNAP

“You don’t want children going hungry tonight because of stupidity,” she said. [More]
"Whose stupidity?" might be a fair question to ask.

Quite the eye-opener, eh?  How close we are to mass desperation, and all that it implies.

And it certainly did reveal a weak link, the physical location of which could provide all kinds of opportunities to those who would benefit from prolonged chaos.

Or Give Me Death Panels

In a rational world, Chris Muir would be syndicated in every major newspaper in the country. [More]

Of course, if this were a rational world, he'd need to find something else to focus on.

See that "support dbd" button in the upper right corner of his site?  I'll bet it's not just there to add graphic balance.

Anyone?

Bueller? [More]

Are they really that restrictive?  It seems nuts to have to even ask, but with what's been going on over there, the whole situation is nuts anyway.

I can't tell from this.

And that's just what we know about.

So they're luring dangerous criminals into their towns?  In other words, to keep the trough full, they're actually endangering people in the areas they're being payed to ... what are they being paid to do again?

A Capital Crime

Remember when Obama postured like he wanted everyone to tone down the rhetoric?

He just meant for his thinly-veiled accusation to shut the opposition up while the media portrays him as the voice of tolerant moderation and reason.

Here's his senior adviser throwing out words like "economic traitors" against those who oppose his policies.

Ace of Spades reminds us who else used that terminology.

And Kurt constantly reminds us of another group that throws out such terminology.

Follow that to its end point.

This is why ceding an inch of ground to these people is a fatally flawed approach. Of course they'll take it.  And then they'll "lean forward" for more.
