Sean Penn as ‘The Gunman’ reflects depth of Hollywood hypocrisy

“A former Special Forces soldier and military contractor suffering from PTSD tries to reconnect with his long time love, but first must go on the run from London to Barcelona and across Europe in order to clear his name,” the IMDB blurb for the film summarizes. Funny: Per the trailer (embedded above), bold Sean is relying on all kinds of guns throughout the film. Doesn't he realize Europe has strict “gun control” laws? And can we now add “clearing one’s name” to our list of justifiable defensive gun uses, or do you need to be somebody special first? [More]
Today's Gun Rights Examiner report notes a leading man who, in true "progressive" Opposite Day fashion, doesn't seem like much of a leader or much of a man.

Be nice to see some sort of analysis on the likelihood of such a bill getting through.

About that Proposed ATF Ammo Ban

I don't see anything yet on Regulations.gov, which typically also posts submitted comments.

Ditto, I don't see it over at the Federal Register.

I admit I don't have that much experience navigating either site. If anyone does, please advise, because I'm not seeing how they can have a 30-day comment period, but not have the rule change posted yet.  I'm wondering if someone at ATF posted something prematurely on their site.

Anyone with insights to educate on this, please share them. Am I even looking in the right place?

UPDATE: I left a voice mail with ATF to ask about this.

This type of unspeakable evil exists in the world while "progressives" attempt to promote moral equivalency and disarmament. [More]

They, too, are unspeakably evil, at least the ones who aren't just stupid dupes who know not what they enable.

We're the Only Ones Equalizing Enough

California Highway Patrol officers and state Board of Equalization agents conducted the raids about noon Feb. 5 at the restaurant at 1611 S. Catalina Ave. and at the homes of its co-owners, Michael Franks and Robert Bell, who reportedly had a heart attack when police arrived at his home. [More]
Dang!  Before I was married, I lived a few blocks up the street from these dangerous scofflaws! Sure glad the equalizers got in there and equalized them before they could unequalize again!

Talk about a lair of evil! I wonder how many henchmen this put on the street?

Is there anyone that it's not clear to what the function of the enforcers is?

Keep it up, California, and everywhere, for that matter.

Squeeze, baby, squeeze.

For what it's worth, I'll be a voice against the indiscriminate égalité guillotines, at least if I think I can do so without ending up in one myself. I just don't think I'll be any more effective at that than I am at recruiting people to involve themselves in less drastic reactions.

There's an idea: Hollywood has been unleashing several high profile movies in recent years that gin up social resentments over wrongs suffered by one group at the hands of another back in the dead past.  How about a French Revolution movie, including graphic depictions of all the novel ways the "One Percent" of the time was dealt with?

Come on, guys. Think of all the money you'd make.
