I spoke with him this morning. He is focused on his purpose and his tasks.

That says much about his character and his courage. I can't say for sure if I'd be doing anything but jumping between denial, rage, feeling sorry for myself, and grasping at straws. As such, this is yet another reminder of the proper conduct of men his example is reinforcing.

I let my friend know he occupies a special place in my prayers.
