Umpqua Killer Claim and O’Reilly Comments Mislead Public Perceptions

Now reasonable gun control, the laws about registration, and you can’t have an AK and all that, reasonable people say “Yes.” [More]
Unsurprisingly, there are a lot of false assumptions being promulgated -- one that the monster was a "conservative Republican," and the other that Bill O'Reilly gave a reasoned and inspired defense of the Second Amendment.

How irrelevant these trivial people are to anything that matters. [More]

How unworthy of their inheritance.

It almost makes me want to cheer on these guys.

Well Said!

Bravo, John!  If anything deserves to go viral, it's your comment.

A Difference in Approach

"It is time for people to wake up to the fact that Utopian fantasies like gun free zones simply do not work. It is time for those who control public gatherings (be it in a school or a movie theater) to wrap their heads around reality. People are needlessly dying." [More]
Well, you can try reason and logic and decency like my friends at CCDL just did, but if you really want to advocate for "progressive" solutions, you need to scream obscenities and stage a public meltdown.

The difference between the two countries manifests itself in all kinds of ways, does it not?  People on the other side are just plain ugly inside.

Among 23 Developed Countries

You guys wouldn't be leaving any out, would you...? [More]

I mean, I'm sure there must be a good reason the guys making the Obama administration look like impotent fools in Syria aren't considered "developed"; enough to be on the chart everybody's using and hardly anybody's calling them on...

What kind of crippled-inside soul would deny such a person an equalizer?

Self Control-Challenged "Actor" Tweets Unintentional Favor

I first heard of Lucas Neff when he staged an online hormonal man-bitch meltdown after Isla Vista. I'd forgotten about him until just now, when I saw him included on a list of professional pretenders and attention-seekers exploiting Umpqua to vent their rage at those who won't submit to their insane demands. [More]

Here's the compulsive attention-seeker screaming "Look at me!" again, in all his spittle-spraying, foot-stamping glory, proving just what an impotent and irrelevant little tantrum-thrower he must be in real life. Either that or he's signaling his studio masters there is no agenda-advancing lickjob he won't publicly administer if only the parts keep coming. But that's OK, because he once more does gun owners a favor by proving that all the "progressive" talk about "commonsense gun safety laws" is just that, and the true goal of these hive insects is a total monopoly of violence.

Here's a representative, but certainly not a complete sampling, of what Lucas demands:
It's all or nothing with subversive, stunted children like Lucas (and with those who actually know what they're doing, but who can't make the end game happen -- yet).  Just keep that in mind whenever you see some "moderate" broaching "compromise." No amount of that will ever be enough, and doing so makes as much sense as throwing a scrap of flesh to a circling pack of jackals, and expecting that will sate them.

Left on Oregon Firearms Federation's voice mail (NSFW or around children or your mom warning):

If you believe in RKBA, consider the message directed at you as well, and ask yourself what kind of "compromise" this headcase would deem acceptable and enough.

And by the way, I wouldn't take it as gospel that he left his real phone number. Then again it may be-- I just recommend making sure if you intend to call, in case he left it to try and entrap...
