A 'Top Republican'

Kevin Brady, Chairman of the House Ways and Means Committee, says TPP is not dead. [More]

I think the people who ensured a sweeping electoral victory have spoken on their expectations to give the professional negotiator a crack at things.

So what makes Kevin one of the party's "top men"? Especially considering that "other" issue  -- the one that can give the Democrats a permanent and unchallengeable supermajority?

52%?

What would you expect if you scored that on an employment test? Especially if the purpose of the test was to compete with other applicants for an important job?

The guy's been in office for going on 10 years now. It's sure looking like it's time for someone who's dynamic and in tune to pry him out.

Brady talks 'CONservative' every other year when he's up for re-erection. He's been screwing TX residents for about 20 yrs now after ascending the hill from his mundane place on the local chamber of commerce.
But we just have to keep re-erecting him, after all he has so much experience and committee chairmanships, how would we get our pork without him?
