Grassroots Action Proposed for Constitutional Militia

If you missed this one on the Oath Keepers site, it has now been picked up by AmmoLand. [More]

A Winning Formula

You can't argue with success. [More]

GOA Defaults on Pledge to Score Immigration on Candidate Grades

So why, when I check GOA’s Congressional ratings, do I see Steve Chabot rated “A,” while immigration watchdog site  Numbers USA scores him at “F-” ? Brad Renstrup gets a “D” on immigration issues and an”A” from GOA. William Johnson gets an “A” from GOA and a “C-” from Numbers USA. Pat Tiberi gets a GOA “B” and an immigration group “F.” James Renacci gets an “A-” from Gun Owners and a “D-” from Numbers. [More]
I expect I'm probably going to lose some "friends" over this one. I don't expect I'll lose any real ones.

We're the Only Ones Uncompromising Enough

The settlement included an apology by the defendant police officer acknowledging respect for citizens’ First and Second Amendment rights and stating “[it] was not my intention to compromise Mr. Howard’s rights under the Constitution.” [More]
Well I hope you guys in Virginia get better training to keep from killing a citizen than Brady Campaign "principled statesman" and  Ohio AG Mike DeSwine is willing to ensure.

Coming Down with Both Boots

The Oregon militia members who occupied a wildlife refuge in protest of the government could face decades in prison under a set of new criminal charges, including firearm offenses, theft of public property and damaging a Native American archaeological site. [More]
As for the rest of you...

Clear As Mud

It's in vested interests to confuse. [View]

I noticed this too, on mine. As near as I can tell, this is what's going on:
66 total delegates - 10 base at-large / 48 re: 16 congressional districts / 3 party / 5 bonus
If you still don't grok the protocol and really want to get confused, allow me to point you to the rules rabbit hole.

Bottom line as I see it, if you favor a particular candidate, vote for him in the at-large block for the whole state and again in the district block for your district.

No One Wants to Take Your Guns!

Well, John Niven does. [More]

Funny, he doesn't flesh out how, what happens if some say "no," and what his personal role in all of this is going to be...

'Progressives' Today

Size Matters

Because government is a force multiplier for evil, a vote for the small government candidate is a vote for good [More]
You mean "for less evil"...?

I vote for good when I engage in a mutually voluntary and acceptable association or transaction. When I vote for a political candidate, I'm picking up any chair in a bar fight I did not start, with the sole intent of extricating me and mine for the time being with minimal injuries.

Espacio Seguro

Students say border protection representatives make students – especially students in the country illegally – feel unsafe. [More]
I don't speak "progressive," but I ran it through Google Translate, and essentially, criminals say law enforcers make them feel unsafe.

It's Only Natural

Ted Cruz Is A 'Natural Born Citizen,' Board Of Election Finds [More]
Did you get the memo?

Of course, we can also find plenty of considered opinions that disagree. And that's a problem, because this is hardly the final word.

Do you know what could be?

If Sen. Cruz released all sealed documents. He can be the one that ends this.

As long as he's certain of his legal position, why wouldn't he?  Because not doing so will only lead to speculation that it would reveal considerations that could make rulings go the other way.

Let me put it another way: You're an employer. You have multiple candidates for a vital job. You ask for documentation on application-claimed background information needed to meet essential hiring qualifications required by top-level policy, and he refuses to produce it.

How do you hire him without violating  mandatory policy?

Nope. No 'Single Issue' to Worry About Here...

Ain't that right, Grover apologists?

Absolutely

"My conclusion so far is you cannot take an absolutist view." [More]
Unless, of course, you're talking absolute power.

Besides, when the Founders wrote the Fourth Amendment, they couldn't have conceived of technological advances that could frustrate a FISA court.  Of course they couldn't conceive of a Constitutional FISA court either, but...

Human Target Redux

Who you gonna believe? Lynne Russsell and her husband Chuck De Caro, with their successful DGU against a surprise attack? Or the guy who had plenty of advance warning the demon was coming down the hall and would be silhouetting himself inside a door frame, and who even had time to pull a phone and call for help, and his "solution" is to bring everyone but the would-be killer down to his level of utter helplessness? [More]

I guess admitting what's obvious to everyone capable of thinking would lead to an uncomfortable self-realization.

Paving the Pathway

ICE: 124 illegal immigrants released from jail later charged in 138 murder cases [More]
Once we welcome more in, secure their position and get that unopposable political majority we're rigging, we'll be in a better position to pass all the "common sense gun safety laws" we want!

You, on the other hand...

Good thing this has nothing to do with that "single issue"! Right, Grover-supporters?

The Daily Bern

I ran across this tweet on the Twitter page of the hate-filled nutjob Bernie supporter who jumped the barricade and lunged at Trump in Dayton the other day.  Murty here says he's "a journalist at The Intercept," which, as you can see for yourself, is a propaganda rag in the tank for Comrade Sanders.

"De-Baathification, eh? Purged?

How very "progressive."

Hey, "due process" is overrated anyway, or at least inconvenient -- plus unnecessary once control is established --  right?

Don't dare reveal yourself as an enemy of The New Order. And we have ways of outing you even if you don't.

I guess I'd better not say anything-- I wouldn't want the hive insects to attack me again for objecting to being "bundled off to Bagram."

Ah the hell with it. Some of us will not go gentle into that good night.

UPDATE: I guess the way I wrote this has confused some. I'm not saying Murty was the Trump-lunger, I'm saying I became aware of his tweet because it was posted on the Trump-lunger's Twitter feed:

In Defense of Ted Cruz

I won't repeat the innuendo here -- or maybe I will and just not give the guy a link instead.

"The Political Insider" is strongly hinting Ted Cruz had an affair. That's what headline surfers will remember and what political enemies will spread as fact.

Foul.

If the guy has proof of what he's implying, he owes it to his readers to produce it. Otherwise, this comes off as just a libelous hit job by someone with an agenda the day before significant primaries.

Weasel-Wording with Kasich

No, no, no, I didn't say path to citizenship, I said path to legalization. [Watch]
Besides, who's interferin'? We're takin' over.

Right, Jojo?

That's the prerequisite step to citizenship. What the hell do we see unfolding before our lying eyes with "[t]he Obama administration's efforts to transform the nation's electorate through immigration"?

Once they're in, how would you "legally" stop it  from happening?

What an "assault weapon"-banning fraud. His only "regret" was it wasn't "effective."

Kasich: The choice of The Boston Globe. Yeah, that Boston Globe.

And also the choice of the Lairds of Fairfax.

Yes, Prof. Quigley? You wanted to point something out?

I guess tomorrow we'll see how many stupid Ohio Republicans there are.
