No Competition?

Banned from Patriot Productions Shows because of low prices [More]
Is there an "other side" to the story?

Sounds like the promoter is shooting himself in the foot (pun intended). This is EXACTLY why I stopped going to shows: price gouging, especially by the WalMart scammers (who show up in teams as early as 4AM and beat the other locals (who have to work a real job for a living) out of all the .22LR and other popular calibers on the rare days that they get delivered. I've seen YouTube posts of young punks actually boasting about duping a new employee out of two or three cases of .22LR when the limit is a couple of boxes. So ever since Sandy Hoax I haven't had but one purchase of .22 at the local WalMart when I just happened to be there when the morning delivery had been delayed in stocking. I hardly ever hear local kids plinking at the quarry nearby anymore, because they can't afford it. They use the local range, but that's about it.

Now ammo purchases are almost strictly online for me and almost everybody I know, unless a local retailer has a sale on something, or I want to get something I'm out of on the way to the range. These promoters who cater to retail and above show vendors (who used to be our main source of good deals on guns and ammo) are going to go the way of the Dodo if they continue supporting price gouging.
