A crusading lawyer filed a bar grievance this week accusing former FBI Director James Comey of lying to Congress and destroying potential evidence in the Clinton email scandal, in a process that could end up costing him his law license. Here in WA I watched our AG and a county prosecutor lie while testifying to a state leg committee in regard to a proposed weapons ban bill. The video is still available online and the lies are obvious ones. I filed a complaint with the state bar association with very low expectations and wasn't disappointed - they "investigated" and found no "violations" so yes it is ok for the top LEO in the state and in one of our larger counties to lie, while testifying before our state leg, on citizen disarmament/intolerable act measures. I certainly hope Mr. Clevenger has better luck than me, too!
