Umm...actually yes. Reports indicate that Rep. Saine was treated more harshly than you or I would have been because she is a pro-gun politician. She was arrested and spent a night in jail. That doesn't happen to most people who make an innocent mistake at DIA.

Officers have responded to 106 reports of a firearm found at a security checkpoint at the airport this year.

Only Saine and one other person were jailed, according to the police department.

Wow. Gotta admit I am surprised, expecially considering it's Denver, CO. I've done plenty of posts over the years where that was not the case, but isolated anecdotes don't trump numbers.
