Exclusive: Breaking With Convention

It wasn’t much of a counterweight to the convention. Depending on who you listen to and which carefully-cropped photos you look at, the Astroturf Moms managed to attract anywhere from several dozen to a couple hundred supporters. For grassroots numbers, you’d need to go inside the 2017 NRA Annual Meeting, with attendance estimates exceeding 80,000. [More]
The conventions they actually break with are the ones established by the Founders.

Not Following the Narrative

REVEALED: FBI found email that Lynch would do everything she could to protect Hillary from CRIMINAL CHARGES [More]
Wait... you mean she didn't meet with Clinton on his plane to talk grandchildren...?

Meanwhile, Across the Pond in Piers Morgan Paradise

The businessman was shot dead in front of his husband after at least two men broke into their home to steal designer watches in a targeted burglary, say police. [More]
So they knew what to target, they knew who to target, and they knew they would not be targeted back.

Sure seems like there's more to this story...

What Did Springfield Armory and Rock River Arms Know and When Did They Know It? [More]
It does not look good.

By the way, this is a good job of discovering/pulling threads and digging into things. I like to see that.

Too many do very little original reporting and mostly focus on rewording stories broken by others.

Death of the West

I’m going to turn the little alphabet belcher into a proud princess whether he likes it or not. [More]
No men left. What could go wrong?

Stupid, smug cow.

Just Because You Say It Doesn't Make It So

Controversial campus gun measure becomes law in Georgia [More]
What's "controversial" about free adults having the means of self-defense? And I'm talking about arguments that aren't manufactured by liars with an agenda.

A Mangina of the People

When the camera turned off, he wept. [More]
That and he's "famous" for being a "public face of grieving."

What a thing to capitalize on. Sounds like a shoo-in with the sob-sister vote.

I see he's running on the "I'm a gun owner with a big BUT" platform, so hold onto your due process.

What's unclear is what use he'd be if confronted by a self-loathing homosexual racist armed Democrat media colleague...

Help Wanted - Inquire Within

GRNC is in need of volunteers to help staff our Raleigh office. [More]
I've done plenty of volunteer work in my time and can't recall ever regretting it. Matter of fact, that's how I met plenty of good people, some of whom became longterm friends.

Some People Just Don't Listen

Then, a customer at the bar pulled out his handgun and shot and killed Jones. Police have confirmed the customer had a CHL and charges won't be filed against him. “He made the decision to engage the shooter, fearing there would be other loss of life,” said Cook. [More]

Dissecting a Troll

This one seems to spend his waking hours on AmmoLand. [More]

It's pathetic when you think about it, but it evidently gives aggresive cowards the attention they crave without any meatspace blowback. Still, I gotta give this guy props, because when it comes to the whole point of trolling, infiltrating and disrupting, he generally succeeds, albeit, I perceive he's doing it on his own because he's just not that sharp.

Which means he perfectly fits the research profile of being a "sadist and psychopath." Not that confronting such defects with reality would make them do anything but double down -- as we saw with that unmasked Antifa total loser at life.

Why does Aesop come to mind...?

In any case, I don't recommend feeding trolls, but just thought a reminder about what drives them wouldn't hurt. In a way, if you think about that, and about how their lives are so empty and pointless such pursuits consume them, a part of me pities them.

Doing What They Do Best?

Macron Stretches Lead As French Presidential Campaign Enters Final Day [More]
They had a choice and it looks like they're rejecting it. We can hope the polls are wrong, and the establishment has been fooled before (!!!), but unless the lead is completely fabricated, it does not look good.

As an aside, I've been seeing people pointing to One America News Network as a potential alternative once the Murdokinders trash Faux News. But adopting "Authorized Journalist" conventions like "far right" to describe someone who believes in sane border and immigration policies, and "centrist" to describe an Obama endorsee makes me wonder.

And profiling Miley Cyrus getting over her nipple pastie phase hardly fills me with confidence.

At least I get no hits there searching for "botched gun sting."

UPDATE: Won't this be interesting if it pans out...?

We're the Only Ones Waving Enough

Lake deputy fired for waving weapons, quoting Denzel Washington character in 'Training Day' [More]
"I'm the police, I run sh** around here. You just live here."

The only disappointment: The story didn't say "The gun went off."
