Time to Enlist or Re-up

It’s time for our annual Summer membership drive and sale! In honor of the Constitution we all swore to defend; from now until midnight, September 17, 2017 (Constitution Day), you can join Oath Keepers, renew your membership, or give someone a gift membership at a great discount rate and have a chance to win one of three superb fighting handguns.[More]
Or do it because you want to keep articles like these coming.

Although I'd rather you did it because you realize there's a value to you and yours in getting armed military and civilian forces exposed to and thinking about the Bill of Rights, and especially about their obligations under it.

And oh look!

Thank goodness this has nothing to do with that "single issue"!

Up the Down Staircase

A Toronto man who spent $550 building a set of stairs in his community park says he has no regrets, despite the city’s insistence that he should have waited for a $65,000 city project to handle the problem. The city is now threatening to tear down the stairs because they were not built to regulation standards. [More]
How dare he expose what could be done if people handled things themselves instead of handing them over to incompetents and thieves.

This reminds me of "The Astronaut Farmer."

We're the Only Ones Lawyering Up Enough

Why did the officer not agree to be interviewed? [More]
The fact that he's clamming up and letting his attorney take over is to be expected and isn't the "Only One" component of this story. Aside from his "highly trained superiority," try telling a cop you have nothing to say without advice of counsel and then prepare for an attitude change and the "Am I being detained or am I free to go?" routine.

Hey, if you didn't do anything wrong, what have you got to hide?
