The Plot Thickens

FEC complaint accuses Clinton campaign, DNC of violating campaign finance law with dossier payments [More]
Not too many headlines make me laugh out loud.

I Don't Automatically Trust Snopes But...

...I don't have enough info to challenge their finding of "unproven" on claims circulating that a student with a gun stopped the UT Austin knife attack.  [More]

UPDATE: Looks like Kendrick is a real asshole.  And what is it with a "revolutionary" who can't spell "revolution"?

A Mixed Bag

City council member packs gun but opposes relaxing concealed carry laws [More]
Don't overtax the guy. Right now he's learning to spell "bag" and "litter."

Putting America Last

It was promised to me more than "Not Hillary." [More]

Dancing in the Dark

House Speaker Paul Ryan’s closed-door announcement of slipping amnesty for nearly 800,000 illegal aliens covered by the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program into an end-of-the-year spending deal comes less than a month after a DACA recipient has been accused of murder. [More]
I don't care when it comes. The fact that it's coming at all is a betrayal of every American who voted for Trump based on his campaign immigration promises.

Good thing none of this has anything to do with that "single issue."

Prior Supreme Court View Took Right of Citizens to Carry Arms across State Lines for Granted

What, so now “racist gun nuts” are reduced to supporting slavery?
Of course not, and anyone leveling that accusation will be attempting to use it in a lying smear to keep a truth they don’t want people to know about from being shared.  [More]
If nothing else survives from the notorious Dred Scott decision, it at least shows that once upon a time the right of free men "to keep and carry arms wherever they went” was assumed.

Flake Out

Good. Let the praise from all the Democrat domestic enemies define him should he seek office again. [More]

Captain's Log

I Don't Think That's Like a Relevant Document Right Now

That's what will happen if the manipulators of pencil-necked useful idiots get their way. [More]

On the plus side, Sean Taylor won't need to take any classes to shed toxic masculinity.

We're the Only Ones Fed Up Enough

That figure includes $6,000 for 1,400 box lunches from Mission BBQ on Saturday; $4,196 for 1,000 meals from Feedmore for dinner on Saturday night; $3,818.54 for bottled water, Gatorade, coffee, cups, sugar and creamer, plates and utensils, hand sanitizer and 10 coolers to store drinks; $2,633.14 for scones, fruit, bagels, juices, sodas and other snacks from Wegmans; $822.50 for 250 Chick-fil-A chicken sandwiches; $371 for Papa John’s pizzas and another $97.28 for pizza. [More]
That reminds me of every job I've never had. Of course, I was only private sector...

Change My Mind

Steven Crowder takes on "gun control" believers. [Watch]

I'd like to see more rabid ones.

'We Have Each Others’ Back'

No double entendre opportunity there... [More]

I don't know who these useful idiots "think" the main voices out there championing the right of all people to keep and bear arms have been.  Or what they "think" happens when commies take over and succeed in disarming everyone not under their control.

We're the Only Ones By Ankle Express Enough

A Cleveland police officer facing charges for the alleged physical and sexual assault of his girlfriend is on the run after police say he broke his GPS ankle monitor. [More]
Dang. And I always felt so safe knowing people who couldn't be trusted without a custodian were wearing them.

Variation on a Theme

Instead of Godwin's Law about the probability of invoking Hitler, substitute "ISIS." [More]

Imagine a cage match between Dana Loesch and Colo...uh...in Kalmbacher here: Who would you put money on?

We're the Only Ones Breaking Up Enough

Palm Beach County deputy used work-issued gun to shoot ex-girlfriend, kill self - Deputy Michael DeMarco shot woman while she was walking her dog, police say [More]
Where's this guy's training? He blew a perfectly good opportunity to shoot a dog.

We're the Only Ones Mentoring Enough

BSO deputy accused of sexually assaulting teenage girl - Deputy Leon Campbell, 37, pretended to be girl's mentor, police say [More]
Here, let me teach you how to do this...

We're the Only Ones Opportunistic Enough

A Palm Beach County deputy was captured on surveillance video last month breaking into an 85-year-old man's home in Boynton Beach after the man was taken to a hospital and died, the victim's family said in a statement. [More]
But it's OK. They delayed the arrest for a month so he could go to rehab and he's on house arrest while on paid administrative leave. Just like they do for everyone.

And don't you just love the way the department spokesflack characterizes this utter and contemptible betrayal of everything as "a bad decision which leads to misconduct"?

The Smoking Gun

“It is not every day in congressional investigations that we find a smoking gun,” Rep. Bob Goodlatte, R-Va., said Tuesday. “Here, we have it.” [More]
I dunno, Bob. Seems to me you guys got plenty of smoking gun evidence a few years back with Holder in the center of the web. What did you do with it?

That means "lies."

Because Nothing Says 'Leadership' Like Preemptive Surrender

But another bill sponsored by a Republican State Rep. Barbara Wheeler is also getting some traction.  The bill has the support of the Illinois Rifle Association, but the bill`s phrasing only specifically includes bump-fire stocks.  Other devices that can increase the rate of fire are not covered by the bill. [More]
Because not surrendering an inch would be "Nuts," right?

Demon Knight

If this isn't justification to disarm you and me, I don't know what is. [More]

My guess would be the accent is on the second syllable.

The Voice is Not Stilled

[Watch]
Part One is now available from 12RoundProductions.

I can't tell you how many times over the past year-plus I've had the impulse to go over to Sipsey Street or pick up the phone to get or share insights. This will  be another way our friend can live on.

Speaking of Professors

Prof: Algebra, geometry perpetuate white privilege [More]
Good grief.

Another One Bites the Dust

Leon Wieseltier, a prominent editor at The New Republic for three decades who was preparing to unveil a new magazine next week, apologized on Tuesday for “offenses against some of my colleagues in the past” after several women accused him of sexual harassment and inappropriate advances. [More]
What is it about feminism-espousing "progressives" that in practice abuse women?  Oh, yeah, Opposite Day...

The thought strikes there's one "profession" that seems to have escaped the right kind of scrutiny in all the brouhaha, and I'd bet it's one ripe for exploring: "Education."

We've all see the stories about teachers rutting with minors, so it could be useful to prove these are overwhelmingly supporters of Hillary and the like. But something that seems to have completely escaped media focus is the archetypal college professor who gets the coed. Talk about a disparity in power. Talk about opportunities for the spurned-for-a-newer-model to avenge themselves with tales of undue "pressure."

VLLA SELLA 'n all that...
