Hawaii Opposition to Concealed Carry not Just Over Reciprocity

“Hawaii lawmakers already made decisions about firearms and public safety that best serve our state,” Chin claimed. “We will resist any efforts by the federal government to turn our state into the Wild West and strip Hawaii residents of the protections passed by our state leaders.” [More]
It’s not that the Hawaii’s “progressive” state government is against guns—they just want to be the ones in complete control of them.

It's Almost Like a Game Plan or Something...

I was looking for something else entirely, and as is so often the case, ran across something of relevance I did not recpgnize at the time. That would be this post from years before Mike and I had ever heard of Fast and Furious and of the Phoenix SAC at its center.

That links to this report, highlights of which include:
U.S. Guns Arming Mexican Drug Gangs; Second Amendment to Blame? ... "It's a war going on in Mexico, and these types of firearms are the weapons of war for them," said Bill Newell ... "It's virtually impossible to buy a firearm in Mexico as a private citizen, so this country is where they come," said Newell ... But U.S. efforts to stop the smuggling of tens of thousands of guns to Mexico, including high-powered assault weapons, have been hampered by lenient American gun laws ... Mexico's strict gun laws are being subverted by the easy availability of weapons in the U.S... U.S. and Mexican officials say they have traced most of the thousands of high-powered weapons seized from the drug cartels to gun dealers in Texas, California and Arizona ... Under federal gun laws, gun dealers are not required to report multiple purchases of such weapons because they are classified as rifles ... "If you were to go into a gun store and buy 20 of these, there is no requirement by the gun dealer to fill out a multiple sales form," ,,, The drug cartels' weapons of choice include variants of the AK-47 ... Assault weapons made in China and Eastern Europe, resembling the AK-47...
Does it seem to you like he had a specific direction he wanted to focus his division's efforts toward?

I wonder if anyone at House Oversight saw this back in the day. If they didn't, I wonder if they'd care to compare it with what they know now.

Controlling the Epic

The focus might be better placed on the tellers of tales rather than the "hero"... [More]

So Finger-Wagging Isn't Enough...?

Buford Tune, owner of the Academy of Personal Protection and Security, believes parents should give hands-on training to their children. [More]
Bingo!

Feral sons Uday and Qusay got range training early, starting with seeing what could happen before they were ready for hands-on. More on that, along with the requisite pointing and laughing at cud-chewers, here....

We're the Only Ones Moonlighting Enough

So in spite of diversity-minded hiring practices, true women warriors are, for the most part, Hollywood fictions? [More]

We're the Only Ones Criminal Enough

Gondo, who is nicknamed "G-Money," laid out in detail on Wednesday what members of the Gun Trace Task Force were really doing under the color of law. In a clear, steady voice, Gondo described for a federal jury how he used his position as a Baltimore police officer to steal money and drugs, and lie to cover his crimes. [More]
Kind of explains why the emphasis on being "OnlyOnes," doesn't it? Controlling turf is what violent street gangs do.  Ditto, occupying standing armies...

Hey, I don't mean to bash. I'm sure there are a few good apples in there somewhere.

Ain't that right, Kevin?

Because Aside from a Vocal Minority of Extremists, Americans Overwhelmingly Want Common Sense Gun Safety Laws!

That must be why they couldn't pass a bump stock ban in Illinois. [More]

What's the genius reason Fairfax tried to preemptively cave on this nationally again...?

Look for the Union Label

A man in a car who was trapped at an intersection by menacing SEIU protesters was arrested for assault with a deadly weapon after he slowly drove through the mob in an effort to escape. [More]
He had every right to get away from the mob.

Look at liar here calling it "plowing."

Fundamental transformation, courtesy of the Marxist/"Republican" alliance.  Prepare for more as they get more vocal about claiming "their" country. And if you don't support that, you're a racist and a xenophobe. Go back to Europe.

Good thing none of this has anything to do with that "single issue."

We're the Only Ones Securing Enough

"It was well-lit, metered parking with other pedestrians in the area,” Woychowski testified. “I thought it would be pretty safe.” [More]
Nice to know such stringent standards are upheld by our highly-trained protectors.

Diversity by Design

A young lady very close to our family is a fashion design major who was given an assignment to create some designs under a general requirement that they must represent "diversity." Her "professor" disallowed her proposal for fashions to enable stylish concealed carry.

I mean, growing market and all...  Perhaps that helps explain why the instructor "teaches" instead of enjoys success in the industry.

The "valid reason" given for rejecting the idea:
"F*** the Second Amendment."
How diverse. How professional. How Opposite Day "progressive."

The Meat of the Matter

The remaining records will be released with agency-proposed redactions on a rolling basis in the coming weeks. The President has demanded unprecedented transparency from the agencies and directed them to minimize redactions without delay. The National Archives will therefore release more records, with redactions only in the rarest of circumstances, by the deadline of April 26, 2018. [More]
Those redactions are what we need to see.

'Tools of the Capitalist'

So the racists, haters and ideological forebears of today's Seattle commies weren't limited-government Constitutionalists? [More]

Still, they had the ideological forebears of cheap foreign labor "Republicans" pegged.

Inspirations to Women Everywhere

Actress Rose McGowan is scheduled to make her first public remarks since accusing film producer Harvey Weinstein of rape. [More]
And she's only getting around to accusing him now because...?  I guess the question here is why she should be believed more than, say, Juanita Broaddrick?

And ol' Ashley Judd sure talks tough -- except when it counts.

Welcome to the Party, Pals

Self-proclaimed gun lawyer-to-the-stars John Chambers was ordered to fork over his extensive client list — opening the door to the feds probing movie stars and comedians who may have obtained gun permits from the troubled Brooklyn lawyer. [More]
Gee, I wonder if we'll come across any cases of hypocrisy...

Urine for Quite a Show

Trans Artist Collects 200 Gallons Of Urine To Protest Trump [More]
Dang. This might just work better than screaming at the sky.

What a "performer."  What an "artist."

These people never seem to come to grips with the possibility that maybe the source of their discontent just might be themselves, do they?

And what an audience, save for the occasional attendee who just wants to see a freak show.

So doing this in a public work place won't require OSHA disposal and DOT transport rules or anything?
